Avalibile May 15 to Sept 30 - Not Valid Aug 5 thru 15 Accommodation: A 16' Hand Painted Authentic Lakota Tipi at Fort Welikit Family Campground, 24992 Sylvan Lake Road (SD Hwy-89,) Custer, SD 57730-7265 Trail Ride: The 2 Hour trail rides are in the Black Hills National Forest and are conducted by a Certified Riding Instructor on gentle, well-trained horses. The forest has an abundance of logging, deer, and livestock trails throughout. You are not limited to riding on just the trails. Where the forest and terrain allow, you can branch out across the prairie or down an uncharted ravine of your choice. The trail ride location starts about a ½ hour's drive from your campground accommodations and can be scheduled for either mornings or afternoons. Generally there is a brief training session at the beginning of each 2 Hour ride. Rates are quoted for 2 people additional persons are extra. All packages are subject to availability. |
